Every discerning minded person with substantial intellectual capacity couldn't but salute the undaunted courage being exhibited by the State Government of Osun in the face of devilish economic season being experienced nationwide.

It is on records that Osun was among the least revenue earning states in the South Western region and by extension in Nigeria.

But in spite of the numerous challenges facing the state, the current government under the leadership of Governor Aregbesola has magnanimously showcased to the world that there is a clear distinction between government and good governance.

It is on this tremendous political consciousness being precipitated on what could be best described as pro-masses and people-oriented socio-political and economic emancipation genuinely demonstrated since assumption of office.

On Assumption of office in 2010, Governor Aregbesola officially unveiled his Six-point Integral Action Plan which were intellectually thought out to integrate the masses out of the perpetual sufferings and deliberate democratic maladministration of the then administration of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Out of his genuineness, Governor Aregbesola summoned brains across the globe with inclusion of technocrats, diplomats, democrats, intellectuals and professionals to collectively deliberate on the decadence in education sector by holistically proffer solutions to the disgusting political structure then.

Thereby, the recommendations and developmental projections made at the summit however made the tremendous landmarks being experienced in the state even in the face of the unpleasant downturn and economic woes in the country.

It is therefore saved for us to say without any form of ambiguity that the ongoing transformation in every nook and cranny of the state of Osun was as a result of staunch and indomitable commitment, dedication and passion towards the citizens' welfare and well being espoused  skillfully exhibited by Governor Aregbesola.

Inarguably, the current government has successfully changed the method of governance from what it used to be to what it supposed to be.

This could be inferred from the fact that    Osun at the best of time was the only state in Nigeria by extension Africa, that attached an unrestricted passion for the State Civil Servants.

The workers in the state were successfully paid as at when due without any form of complaints, industrial action or bureaucratic rancour.

Governor Aregbesola who has written his name on the platter of gold through his numberless gargantuan achievements was ranked the best Governor in massive infrastructural developments.

The unfolding tranquility, peace, harmony and cohesion currently enjoying by the residents were directly the handiwork of Governor Aregbesola.

It is also on records that Osun has been indisputably recognized as one of the peaceful states in the country with lowest crime rate.

Without gainsay, Osun under the leadership of Governor Aregbesola has received several accolades and encomiums within and outside the country by the people that valued real achievements.

With his advanced focus and political sagacity, Governor Aregbesola was the first Governor in the country to announce and prepare the minds of the masses on the antics of the PDP led Federal Government then.

Though to some sections of the population, this noble foresight was a mere alarm and foul cry which was tagged as political distraction aimed at discrediting the ruling party the.

But notwithstanding, the current government since being tormented with economic irregularities occasioned by the acclaimed fall in the global price of the crude oil, however, has been tremendously striving to survive through other economic means.

The Governor of the state has been working round the clock to ensure economic stability being culminated by the palpable corruption characterized of the immediate past administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.

In view of this, Governor Aregbesola announced and made compulsory 50 percent deduction in the monthly salaries of all the political office holders as this noble step had contributed greatly to the state's economy.

Meanwhile, It is obvious that what goes round, comes round in the Nigeria's economic structures which has been over the years allegedly mismanaged to corruption, mal-administration, nepotism, jingoism, clannishness and greediness of the nation's leaders.

The successive administrations has been battling with plethora of socio-political, culural, religious and mostly economic challenges which well-inclined political scientists and economic experts attributed majorly to ineptitude and corruption.

Apparently, Nigeria as a country to some, is a refugee where universe corruption breeds and nurses, while to some, is an abode of insecurity, nepotism, chauvinism and clannishness.

Findings revealed that Nigeria is only the country in all the existing continents where the trends of impoverishment increases at geometric stance.

To attest these facts, some experts portended that Nigeria's economy could only be on a realistic improvement if there are meaningful changes in the constitution that binds the nation together.

While some opined that the only sustainable solution to the economic mess premised on attitudinal change to governance.
