FRIVOLITIES OF THE HOUSE by TORM GARDSON

And So!

They:

Came; Raid and Trade;

With their trickery blade,

In corning ways.

They:

Protest ; Contest,

And In tricks; Request,

For our voting Content.

And so!

They:

Win ; Wine and Dine,

In sceptical Minds.

They:

Sit and Put up debates,

Decree; Agree and Disagree.

They:

Speak; Ask and Seek,

With words and speeches,

For delirious tasks.

They:

Act ; Dart and Art,

All! in selfish draft.

And so!

They:

Dwarf; Like a swarf,

Our endless money raft.

Like metals!

Shall we speak of their heart rotten?

Like booming bombs!

They bong and pong,

Like a tattered gong.

As if it were their lineage thrones;

There! they sit as kings and lords,

On the upper and lower house.

Within their worth booming;

They preen and prune;

Astand hatred and ills of heart

 Within their midst.

Shall we let lies wine with them

And sorrows to dine within us?

Or shall we let their worth

Becomes our worst?

Why can’t the bell yells

And let the whole ears hear?

Why can’t the flute sing

letting the whole house ding?

Shall they live and we die

Or they die and we live?

Let oh! I plead the bell yells

Let oh! I plead the flute sing

Let oh! I plead to all their hearings.....
