As a young students activist,passionate about democracy,rule of law and its associated freedom,June 12 1993 was an avenue to see true defenders of democracy at work,they appeared in different shapes and sizes,orators,cheerleaders,columnist,strategist,financier as well as bootlickers and military apologist,who worship money and refused to rise above partisan sentiment.
Notable among heroes of june 12 were indomitable Gani Fawehinmi of blessed memory,Bekololari kuti,Femi Aborisade,Femi Falana,Amitolu shittu,mallam yunusa Tanko,and majority who prefered not to be seen but heard,they led us into barricade,they spoke to our inner conscience,they are our heroes,because they are true to democratic ideals.
Moreover,June 12 created activist among politician,they are mostly moles,saboteur,hypocrite,they infilterate pro democracy movement as they face political quality deficit,releasing vital information which led to many either killed maimed or jailed.
Yesterday revelation by major Hamza Al mustapha exposed our hypocritical past, Dele giwa would have says ''NO TRAITOR WILL GO UNEXPOSED,IF NOT NOW SURELY LATER,IF NOT BY MAN ,THEN BY GOD,AS THE FORCE OF HYPOCRISY IS TEMPORARY
